This notice explains what Wimter International does with the information you give us through this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
What you type into a quotation request: your company, your name, your email address, a phone number if you give one, the destination and the products you want quoted. If you allow analytics cookies, also the anonymous visit statistics described below. We do not buy or enrich contact data.
Why we hold it
To answer your request with a written offer, and to keep a record of what was quoted. We use it for that and nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
How long we keep it
Quotation requests are kept while a trading relationship is live and for the period our tax and customs records require. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless a shipment record has to be kept by law.
Your quotation basket
The products you add sit in your own browser until you send the request. They are not visible to us before that, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Visit statistics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages and products buyers look at, roughly which country they visit from and what kind of device they use. It sets cookies only if you allow them in the notice at the bottom of the page; visitors in Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page. We do not run advertising, and nothing is used to follow you to other sites.
Other services this site uses
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file. Visit statistics, when allowed, are processed by Google Analytics. If you choose a language other than English, the text of the page is sent to Google Translate to be translated, and your choice is kept in a cookie. The site runs on Hostinger, which keeps standard server logs. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is covered by WhatsApp’s own terms.
